It is so easy, for ALL of us, to get caught up in "getting our needs met" and "the jobs done" that the opportunities for small kindnesses can pass us by. Often we're so busy just trying to get to the next "task" that we forget to live in the moment. Funny how it can lift the spirits even on a "rainy day" when we reach out to help another.
